What I'm focused on right now.

Inspired by /now. Updated September 2026.

Building

  • Behindit: a new onboarding flow and the Android app.
  • Engineer at Whispers Global, on Brandex and Brandex Studio.
  • Prototyping an AI-native game engine on the side.

Finishing

  • My B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems at the University of Jordan.

Reading

  • Designing Data-Intensive Applications, Martin Kleppmann.
  • The Pragmatic Engineer, weekly.
  • Old Paul Graham essays, again.

Thinking about

  • How small teams ship like big ones, and where the leverage is.
  • When to write the boring code and when to actually be clever.
  • The shape of healthy founder-engineer balance.

Not focused on

  • Side projects that don't teach me something.
  • New frameworks for their own sake.
